I love fashion advertisements. They take me on adventures. They sell me culture and sex.
I find them exciting.
And indifferent.

Bad Case of the Mondays
I'm busy right now. Please hold.
But really. I've got stuff I'm doing. Just this weekend. Could possibly be the most exciting one day I've had in a long time. Cultured, artsy fartsy shit. Okay Carie, let's be serious now.
Access Arts Belle Isle opening. I am beyond thrilled. I'm pumped to have my name in the metrotimes. To be quite frank and literal, there are people out there that are going to look at a broken bench around a tree, and see it as art because I say it is. This concept is amazing to me.
Later that evening, Chris and I are participating in a performance art piece written by our friend Ryan Standfest. It's funny. I like it. I made a poodle skirt for it. And bought saddle shoes. I hope someone takes my picture.
Flyer designed by Mr. Andy Gabrysiak
who is also appearing in "Hullab".
That and just meeting new people.
And I miss performing. I forgot how much I like playing a role, stepping into another's shoes.
I'm geeked. Have I mentioned that yet?

No Use For A Name
It's been too cold to take pictures. I've been lazy. Here are the few I've managed to leave the couch for.

Tuesday
So yesterday I went out to Mt. Clemen's to meet up with Erica and her friend for lunch. After I snapped a few shots before the rain got out of hand.
Then I went to my mum's to visit for a bit.
She wasn't home, but my dogs were.
This is Huxley. Stinky hides from the camera and isn't very easy to work with.
